They butterfly garden is up and ready for butterflies. The flowers have a beautiful little “bird bath” in the middle.
The garden received some nicely painted rocks to inform what was planted where. They look amazing!
Talented Art students decorated the sides of the garden boxes with paintings of various fruits and vegetables.
The forth graders where the first to use our outdoor learning area. The tables were full of children with clipboards in hand, working on their colonial garden. Students seemed to enjoy the space, even in the heat.
The decorative fence has been made out of pallets donated by the technology department. The pallets were cut to look like picket fences. Mrs. Langston’s class is getting the garden boxes ready to plant. They are pulling weeds, putting down more soil, tilling the soil and cleaning up boxes. This week they will be measuring and marking off boxes to begin the planting process.
